ABSTRACT
Three Gold dinars were recovered during the excavations. The coins have been read by Mr Khalid al-Sindi, Superintendent of Archaeology in the Bahrain National Museum, and photographs of the coins have also been looked at by Dr Cecile Bresc of the Department of Coins and Medals in the British Museum. Unfortunately it did not prove possible to weigh the coins on account of their being taken into safekeeping by the Bahraini authorities allied with the absence of suitable equipment in the field.
