Institutional Arrangements for the Protection of Indigenous Peoples and Ethnic Minorities in Pakistan

This chapter provides a brief outline of the institutional arrangements designed to protect minorities and indigenous peoples in Pakistan. These institutions vary in structure and organisation, some working under the auspices of the federal government, while others are controlled by the provincial governments. However, prior to dealing with the various relevant institutions, some clarification appears to be in order.
