ABSTRACT

Urbanization and globalization that result in demographic lifestyle and dietary changes present challenges to public health. The nutritional and epidemiological transitions that follow these developments significantly affect the health of populations. Migration accelerates some of these processes, and migrant studies offer us the opportunity of observing the role of environmental change on various ethnic groups.
