ABSTRACT

MAIN FOCUS: WHO CAN WE INTERACT AND/OR WORK WITH – CAN WE GET ON WITH OTHERS WITHOUT HAVING TO LIKE THEM? Discuss a range of feelings towards other people, from loathing to liking, including indifference (as with total strangers). Raise the point that we can respect people without necessarily liking or disliking them. (For example, rivals in sport often respect their opponents because of their level of skill and dedication.) Talk through different levels of interaction ranging from a grudgingly grunted 'Hello' through to friendly, informal chat about holidays, family etc.
