ABSTRACT
I met him at his office on a Friday evening, the night the magazine is put to bed. Fortunately, by the time I arrived he had already finished his story for the week. Nonetheless, we had to wait for a while because his story was being submitted to the various reporters who had supplied him the information and had the right to suggest changes.
