My FAVORITE FIGURE of arrangement is the tmesis.Like most of my favorite figures, this one has little practical use-beyond, that is, showing how, once we begin to figure speech, nothing is safe. In tmesis we break a work in two, usually to put another word between the parts. (In English only the compounds of "ever" readily lend themselves to tmesis.)
