ABSTRACT

You may conclude from your reflections that personality has something to do with a teacher's level of success and that people with certain personality types are therefore more likely than others to make successful teachers. Alternatively, you may have reached the conclusion that a range of people with different personality types can be successful as teachers, but that certain types of pupils respond differently to people with different personalities. Either way, you are probably associating certain attitudes and behaviours or 'styles' of teaching with effectiveness.
