The subsistence base at the site included a mixture of agricultural plants (maize and beans), wild terrestrial foods, and marine resources. The sites occupants built jacals (houses of perishable materials) along the river. They made a redware pottery, ceramic beads, and female ceramic figurines with “tat tooed” faces.
