ABSTRACT
During the Mayales I and II phases, the site appears to have been a small agricultural hamlet with infrequent interaction with outside groups. Abandoned c. A.D . 400, it was reoccupied during the Monota phase, with ties to the cultures of Pacific Nicaragua. Some statuary of the Chontales type was also found at the site.
