ABSTRACT
Diary entries present a chronicle of experiences, events and observations. As an active assessment strategy they can be written to challenge specific concepts or provide a particular writing challenge. A daily, weekly or randomly written diary could be chosen, sometimes written from the perspective of an inanimate object.
