ABSTRACT
A drawing can bean obvious way to enable learners to express their ideas. Annotated drawings include words as well as pictures and can be a useful extension of drawings. They enable learners to include more detail than can be included in a drawing and they can also help to compensate for a lack of graphic skill in drawing their ideas.
