ABSTRACT

The first time I remember thinking about law enforcement I was fifteen or

sixteen. We had a problem w ith some biker guys harassing one of my sister’s

boyfriends. I was driving, and one of them threw a bottle at my car. I told my

mother, and she, of course, called the police. The police came to the house,

showed me all the pictures of the people that were in the gang, and asked me

to identify the guy. Jokingly, the cop said I should be a cop.
