ABSTRACT
In the Autumn of 1910, immediately following the High Holy day penitential period, the last major pogrom was initiated against the Jews of Shiraz. Murder, pillage, rape and extensive vandalism were reported to have left the entire community of 6000 virtually homeless and terrorized.
