ABSTRACT
The topic of responsibility is an area in which the interests of the philosopher and of the lawyer overlap. One branch of philosophy is the philosophy of mind and action, and one of the concerns of the criminal lawyer is the mental element in crime. This area of overlap will be the subject of this book.
