ABSTRACT
The language of kinetics is the rate law, and it is thus important to consider derivation of rate equations. In this chapter several methods for the derivation of rate equations will be presented and discussed in terms of ease of use. Finally, at the end of the chapter, the statistics of data fitting will be discussed.
