ABSTRACT

T he research fi eld “confl ict management” † is best understood as thoroughly

multidisciplinary, encompassing disciplines, such as international law, psychology, socio-biology, political science, economics, and social anthro-

pology. In light of this diagnosis the present chapter sets out to review one particular subsection of the fi eld.
