ABSTRACT

Behavioural deficits are defined as behaviours that the individual does not display which one would reasonably expect to be present in someone of their age and cultural background. In other words, what is the individual not doing that one would reasonably expect them to do? For example, they may fail to attend to hygiene or personal safety, may be unable to cook for themselves, may be unable to use public transport or may fail to engage in conversation with others.
