ABSTRACT
The purpose of this book is to explore the likely impact of Building Information Modelling on the UK construction industry. Later chapters will address the operational aspects of BIM implementation: reasons for doing it, the conditions necessary to do it successfully and the anticipated results of doing it, both at the level of the individual project and at overall industry level.
