ABSTRACT
The central proposition of this book is that one of the main causes of underperformance in the construction industry is poor-quality design information and ineffective communications amongst the members of project teams. The BIM approach promises a solution to both of these problems. It generates dramatically higher quality design information, and also enables that information to be managed and communicated far more efficiently than in the past.
