ABSTRACT

The purpose of this chapter is to illustrate skills and methods in action through the use of three in-depth case studies. The case studies are all based on real-life excerpts of detailed conversations with young children between the ages of 4 and 7 years. The case studies have been selected to illustrate the different ways in which children use methods to explore their memories, feelings and views about their families and about life since they have come into care. The case studies also illustrate all of the key principles and practice points outlined in the previous chapter.
