ABSTRACT

Pill bugs (Armadillidium vulgare, Isopoda, Crustacean) can adapt to new situations by generating novel (special) behaviors (Moriyama, 1999, 2004; Moriyama & Migita, 2004; Moriyama, Riabov, & Migita, 2005). These behaviors are exhibited when they encounter the corresponding stimuli by exploring the environment via the antennae.
