There are thousands of space organizations worldwide. This glossary focuses on a selection of them, including national space agencies, governmental organizations with a role in space, intergovernmental organizations, space and aerospace companies, satellite communications service companies, and nongovernmental organizations including research institutes, laboratories, grassroot groups and various types of private non-profit entities.
