ABSTRACT
The tradition of architectural manifestos was in its heyday during the early twentieth century when politics and architecture were inseparable. The Marxist revolution was inspirational. CIAM, the Bauhaus, the Futurists, Le Corbusier, and Frank Lloyd Wright were among the individuals and groups that published endless manifestos in books, magazines and pamphlets during this period.
