ABSTRACT

Architectural psychology, environmental psychology, man/woman (people)–environment studies, human factors of design, or the ontoperivantic aspects of psychostructural environics, call the study what you may, has been concerned primarily over the past 40 years in making better and more humane environments. These preoccupations also have strong and varied undertones, and appeal to the social and behavioral sciences, including psychology, sociology, neurophysiology, geography, and anthropology.
