ABSTRACT
I ABOUT five hundred years before the Christian era Heraclitus anticipated the researches of modern science by making the simple statement that “Everything flows.” But some seven hundred years previously, had the Chinese in their “Yih-King” (Canon of Permutation), made an attempt to formulate in what order changes occur in nature and in history.
