ABSTRACT
Phenomenological research is undertaken occasionally in marketing communications and rarely in public relations, despite its potential utility.
This chapter aims to discuss:
• the characteristics of phenomenology; • different perspectives on the approach; • how the approach addresses data collection and analysis; • its use in the fields of public relations and market communications.
