ABSTRACT
Among largely industrial and agricultural categories, Schedule 2 includes
infrastructure projects involving industrial estates and urban development projects
exceeding 0.5 hectares.
For our purposes, it is the nature of the required assessment that is
important. This is set out at Schedule 4 of the regulations and specifically includes the
description of the architectural and archaeological heritage affected by such a
development, and the assessment of direct, indirect, secondary, cumulative, short-,
medium-and long-term, permanent and temporary, positive and negative impacts.
