ABSTRACT
BEFORE breakfast we started loading our special paediatric and surgical equipment on to a three-tonner, together with our personal belongings so as to keep the Opel for passengers.
Then we forgathered for an early breakfast. I entered the dining-room with Paddy MacClancy and Nigel Kinnear. There we found Gilbert, our driver, and the two girls. I tried to introduce them to the others.
