ABSTRACT
In order to understand how to teach science to ELLs at the secondary grade levels, we must focus on how science content progresses from elementary grades to middle grades and to high school grade levels in these documents. is book discusses science teaching in the light of the NSES,1 so we will explain the content progression across grade levels by providing specic examples from these standards.
