ABSTRACT
This chapter will explore how you can best research the media, and theories of media. You already have skills for ‘basic’ academic work such as essays, which we will briefly recap and develop. Some of this chapter may also help your preparations for practical projects – a short film, a radio programme, or even ‘practice-related’ academic coursework.
