ABSTRACT
You sit on the park wall swinging your legs, when you see an old car parked up. It doesn’t look like much cop. Not the sort of car you’d choose, that’s for sure. What a loser! You start to toss bits of gravel at it to see if you can hit the car logo on the back. Actually you’re a pretty good shot, so you challenge yourself to see how many bits you can get to land on the roof. One of the pieces of gravel obviously had a sharp edge because it made a really bad scratch down the side of the car as it fell off the roof. This gives you an idea, and you end up seeing whether you can put a dent in the door by throwing stones. The bigger ones obviously make the bigger dents, and by this time you’re not that bothered that the car is looking even more of a wreck than when you found it. You think to yourself, ‘They won’t be that bothered. It was scratched already!’
