ABSTRACT
Within the events industry, the perception of health, safety and risk issues is changing fast. In the past, there has been a tendency to view health and safety issues as ‘red-tape’ bureaucracy that merely ticks regulatory boxes whilst creating extra work for the already stressed event manager.
