ABSTRACT
This fi nal chapter of the book aims to take stock of where research and its appli-
cation have got to, and what kinds of challenges face the research and practice
community over the next few years in advancing this fi eld. It is mainly based on
refl ections arising from the preceding chapters, and represents a personal view
of the author. In that respect I hope it will also challenge readers to consider
whether my views are valid and whether they agree with my prognoses.
