As he elaborated over subsequent pints of beer, Wicker Park signals an ethos of creativity and experi - mentation, one which his website-design shop shares regardless of what side of Ashland Avenue it is on. Still, if not “a place,” this ethos nevertheless derives from the activities of local artists-both the work of artistic production and an artistic style of life-though apparently it is expansive enough to encompass other things as well.
