Ogden, Charles Kay (1889-1957) Born at Fleetwood, England, on June 1, 1889, entered Cambridge on a Classical scholarship in 1908, making the influence of language upon thought in ancient Greece his field of specialization. Ogden developed and applied this theme in his writing throughout his career.
