ABSTRACT
SYNTHESISING LEARNING: At AS level there was a clear and strong focus on the construction of meaning and emotion, and on the relationship between producers and audiences. This was defined through the application of macro and micro techniques, and dealt with issues of how spectators made meaning from an extract, and from the examination of British and American film through their producers, audiences and broader contexts.
