ABSTRACT

Part III of this book looks at ways of facilitating exchange within the design process. The main focus so far has been on gathering the perspectives of young children. However, the living spaces under investigation are environments shared by adults and children. It is not only young users who can be a hidden resource in the design process. The views and experiences of practitioners and parents can similarly be invisible. This study has attempted to draw these adult perspectives into discussions at different stages of the building projects.
