ABSTRACT
One of the most provocative questions to ask about mental illnesses or disorders is: Are there any? Radical skeptics or categorical reality deniers of the existence of mental disorder I call anti-realists about mental disorder. Mental disorders don’t happen. Affirmers, like me, I call realists about mental disorder. Mental disorders happen. They are not just possible but actual.
