ABSTRACT
This book concentrates on the biographical discourse, but so far I have not given the reader a portrait of any particular individual. I was discussing similarities and differences between individuals’ life accounts, trying to see the forest rather than the trees. This chapter is aimed at achieving the reverse. I want to give the reader a chance to get to know one person in the full complexity of his life experiences rather than comparing and contrasting his story with the others.
