ABSTRACT
In most classes there are one or two children who raise considerable concern by their lack of progress in the classroom. In addition to their lack of academic progress, they may show worrying behaviour traits, such as being withdrawn and difficult to reach or disruptive and challenging. These traits may have arisen because of the children’s lack of learning skills and show their disaffection with the curriculum.
