ABSTRACT

Having been facilitated to explore the negative and controlling aspects of the work they undertake as managers, and the ways in which the organization controls and dominates them, some may find instigated in themselves a form of rebellion against or resistance towards the organization. Rather than return to their daily work determined to lead employees to greater productivity and higher conformity, they may do the opposite and return determined to bring about changes of a different kind. What those are cannot be predicted. We can surmise only that there are possibilities that the leadership style evoked may just as likely be that of a quiet revolutionary as that of the more effective manager.
