ABSTRACT
There are numerous possible sources of combustion products in a residence: cooking appliances, space heaters, furnaces, fireplaces, and cigarettes. Factors that influence the indoor concentration of air contaminants resulting from combustion include the nature of the fuel, the location of the source, the quantity of air used, the temperature of combustion, and the presence or absence of a ventilation system.
