The parent was expected to help the teen get the ball rolling for the first gettogether; thus, parents must take the major responsibility for this homework assignment. The group leader has to maintain pressure on parents to get this to happen. Review the get-together assignment first by asking for successful gettogethers, and redirecting parents who want to talk about anything else.
