ABSTRACT
The examples of gender and agrarian reform discussed in these pages present a conundrum, a set of dilemmas for policy and practice that are not easily resolved. This concluding chapter revisits the different trajectories of agrarian and land reforms. It then discusses conditions under which more equitable land reforms might take place and posits potential ways forward.
