ABSTRACT
UA arises where a group of people (two or more) join together and pool property for a certain common purpose – e.g. to promote a political cause or to set up a sports club.
The group will usually have a set of rules (sometimes informal) concerning how it is to function and it will usually require property to help achieve its ends.
