ABSTRACT
Ancillary relief claims are those relating to the distribution of financial and property assets between the parties after divorce, nullity (where a decree has been sought) or judicial separation, and include claims for children. The statutory provisions are the same, regardless of the extent of those assets, but in many so called ‘big money cases’ the court’s discretion is much wider.
