Useful classroom tips We all know the good sense of this so I feel there is no need to elaborate on the
idea or argue the case. How can we help to ensure that the pupils achieve it?
Here are some tips:
Once the pupils have a basic storyline in mind get them to think about the end
of the story first. What are the components of memorable endings in books
and films? – not the details of setting and character but the emotional qualities;
the drama, excitement, shock, humour and so on.
