ABSTRACT
This book has taken a culturally geographical approach to place. In this final chapter we reiterate the key premise on which this approach is built – how places can be understood as an ongoing composition of traces. We then outline one example, the case of the World Trade Center and Ground Zero, New York, USA, to illustrate this argument for a last time.
