ABSTRACT
The focus of this book is on how wealthier countries deal with the acceptance of migrants, and the previous chapter emphasized the overall aim of raising the kind of thought-provoking questions that will spark searching discussion of this complex topic. That chapter also sketched in outline the important difference between immigrants and refugees and suggested that we think of these as two subsets of the larger category of international migrants.
