From the previous chapter it is clear that, although the concept of immanent transcendence is generally understood as being indicative of the methodological structure of contemporary Critical Theory and actually determines the way contemporary critical theorists pursue it, there are certain aspects of this methodology that need explicit and even urgent attention. These aspects will have to be covered in the present chapter at least up to the point at which Critical Theory’s methodology can be presented in a reasonably comprehensive and coherent matter.
